Culture for Mycoplasma, Ureaplasma and Trichomonas vaginalis has been replaced by more sensitive and specific targeted PCR testing.

Culture is no longer available. Testing for one/all will be by PCR.

When requesting swabs for culture, please provide the sample site details on both the request form and swab label.
