WCC’s Histopathology service supports a full range of pathology sub-specialities, including gastrointestinal, dermatological, haematological, urological, breast, gynaecological, respiratory, renal, hepatobiliary, and head and neck.

Laboratory hours
Monday–Friday, 07:30–19:30 and Saturday 08:00–17:00.
Specimens

| Histopathology – Routine Diagnosis | Tissue in 10% Neutral Buffered Formalin, at least 10x the volume of the specimens |
| Histopathology – Frozen sections (on request) | Fresh tissue (i.e. no fixative) – delivered immediately to the laboratory |
